Here, everything is designed to help you make the most of your holiday: water sports, summer entertainment, beachfront restaurants and local markets where you can discover regional specialities.
Nature lovers are in for a treat: the state-owned forest and the Monts marshes offer superb trails for walking or cycling, with scenery featuring pine trees, dunes and stretches of water where you can spot numerous species of birds.
At the end of the day, don’t miss a stroll along the Saint-Jean-de-Monts jetty, a long pier that stretches out into the ocean and offers exceptional views, especially at sunset.
Practical information: Saint-Jean-de-Monts can be reached by car or by bike via the Vélodyssée cycle route. Events and shows take place all summer long on the Esplanade de la Mer, and the beach is lifeguarded during the season.

2. The State Forest
Over 25 km of cycling and walking paths meander through pine and holm oak trees. It's the ideal place for a shaded stroll or a morning trail run.
3. The Embankment and the Seafront Avenue
