To start the day off right, join us in the town of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie, 20 minutes by bike or 11 by car from your campsite.
There’s nothing quite like starting the day by immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of the market in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. If you’re lucky enough to be there on a Wednesday or Saturday morning, don’t miss the main market on the Place du Vieux Port. You’ll find local produce such as Vendée honey, mogettes (a traditional variety of white beans), Vendée brioches, and, of course, the famous Saint-Gilles sardines. You can also buy ultra-fresh fish and seafood caught straight from the Atlantic. Discover the handmade crafts, perfect for bringing back an authentic souvenir.
